Auditing continues, plug-in grant discussions and EV events

  •  Energy Saving Trust is currently auditing the group of retailers who applied to receive their EV accredited status during the second year of the scheme. For those who are already “EV Approved”, don’t forget to promote your EVA status: we have previously shared with you a “media pack” including social media assets, branding guidelines that you can use to create your own POS material as well as a template for a press release you can send to your local media outlets. For more information, please email eva@rmif.co.uk.
  • Following the recent cuts to the Plug-In Grant and NFDA’s meeting with representatives from the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), NFDA remains in constant dialogue with the Government to outline the potential impact on retailers ahead of future changes and, in particular, the effects these would have on dealers’ financial liability of wholesale stocking. We will keep you informed.
  • There are a number of EV focused events taking place in the summer, including NFDA’s EV Readiness Roadshows now taking place in August (see more details in the newsletter). EVA will also have a stand at the British Motor Show in Farnborough, between 19 and 22 of August, promoting the EVA brand to thousands of consumers. If you would like to discuss how you can get involved, please contact us.
