The transition to electric vehicles (EVs) is accelerating and as an Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) accredited dealer you are at the forefront of it.
Energy Saving Trust is hosting a series of workshops aimed at equipping automotive sales staff and managers with the tools to better understand this rapidly expanding market.
The workshops will enable staff to provide enhanced advice to customers on EV ownership and technology, and to develop sales and operational policies which will allow them to benefit from the opportunities that the transition to EVs provides.
The workshops, which are funded by Department for Transport, will run from 10am-12pm, every Wednesday from 25 November 2020 (excluding 23 and 30 December).
The sessions will be held virtually and will be structured to provide a focus on used vehicle sales, fleet sales or be more general in nature. Individual sessions for senior staff or commercial vehicle specialists will be available subject to demand.
The sessions will cover:
- vehicle emissions and the motives behind the move to ultra-low emission vehicles
- vehicle technology, charging and infrastructure
- Clean Air Zones and Ultra Low Emission Zones
- future developments
- the business case
- common customer concerns about EV ownership and debunking myths
These sessions are an opportunity for staff to benefit from free, expert and impartial advice from Energy Saving Trust and other specialists in this field. The sessions will also provide an opportunity to interact with industry colleagues in a collaborative learning environment.
We hope you can join us for what promises to be an informative series of events.
Date: Every Wednesday from 25 November 2020 (excluding 23 and 30 December)
